Sharp websites for serious small businesses

I design and build fast, clean websites for small businesses — one project at a time, start to finish. No agencies, no handoffs. Currently booking founding clients at reduced launch rates.

Early-stage studio — you work directly with me from the first conversation to the final launch. Founding clients get priority time and honest, personal attention.

What I offer

Services & pricing

Straightforward work, honest pricing. Every project gets a fixed quote after our first conversation — no surprises.

Founding client pricing — these rates apply to founding clients only. Rates increase once all spots are filled. Reach out to claim yours.
Landing Page

From $500

A conversion-focused single page for new businesses, launches, or individual services. Includes contact form, mobile optimisation, and foundational SEO. Most land at $500–$650.

Redesign

From $1,250

Your site exists but no longer reflects your business. I'll rebuild or modernise it — no downtime, nothing lost. Priced similarly to a full build given the complexity of working with existing content. Usually $1,250–$2,000.

Hosting & Maintenance

$100 / month

Shared hosting, weekly backups, software updates, and same-day personal support for small fixes and content changes during business hours. You email me, I handle it — no tickets, no waiting.

How it works

Simple from start to launch

A clear process so you always know where things stand.

We talk

You tell me what you need, who your customers are, and what's not working. No jargon, just a conversation.

I design

Initial concepts delivered within 2–3 business days. One clear direction, not three confusing options. Two rounds of revisions included — I ask a lot of questions upfront so the first draft is usually close.

I build

Once approved, I build it — fast, accessible, and tested across real devices. No handoffs to developers, no third parties. What you approve is what gets built.

You launch

Final payment before go-live. I hand over everything, walk you through the basics, and stay available for a month of small tweaks.

Who's behind this

I'm Alex. I build websites for small businesses that need to look the part.

I'm not coming out of an agency. I taught myself to build for the web, I care about doing it properly, and the work I produce reflects that — fast, accessible, tested across devices, designed with real attention to detail. If you want to know whether I can do the job, the site you're looking at right now is the most honest answer I can give you.

What I can genuinely offer that most studios can't: you deal with me, only. The person who answers your first email is the person who designs your site, builds it, and is still available after launch. No handoffs, no junior stand-ins, no support queue.

I'm early in my client roster, which means founding clients get my full attention and better pricing than they would once I'm fully booked. That's the trade — and I think it's a fair one.

FAQ

Common questions

Things people usually ask before we start.

  • Landing pages start at $500, most come in at $500–$650. Full business websites start at $1,250, typically $1,250–$2,000 depending on scope. Redesigns are priced similarly — usually $1,250–$2,000. You'll get a fixed quote after our first conversation, so you know the exact number before any work starts.

  • 50% upfront before work starts — this reserves your spot and covers initial design time. The remaining 50% is due before the site goes live. Final payment is tied to delivery. If you need the site launched, the invoice gets paid first.

  • Two rounds of revisions are included. A revision round means a consolidated list of changes — not a rolling stream of requests. After two rounds, additional changes are billed hourly. I ask a lot of questions upfront so the first draft is usually close.

  • Landing pages: around 1–2 weeks from kickoff to launch. Full websites: 2–4 weeks. The timeline depends largely on how quickly you can review and provide content. I'll give you a clear checklist upfront so nothing stalls on your end.

  • Ideally yes — you know your business best. If you're stuck, I can help draft copy or source royalty-free photography. Just mention it upfront so we can factor it into the scope and timeline.

  • Yes, if that's what you want. I can build on a CMS like Webflow or WordPress so you can make edits without touching code. If you'd rather just email me changes, the hosting and maintenance plan covers that.

  • Shared hosting, weekly backups, software and plugin updates, and personal support during business hours. In practice: email me when something needs changing and I'll typically handle it the same day. No ticketing system, no queue, no agency middleman.
